Friday’s Thought


The week started with another Photo trip. The location this time Tynemouth and North Shields. Unlike the trip to Seaton Sluice the week before which provided the opportunity for photos of beautiful, early morning skies, the weather on this occasion was drab and overcast. Plan B

Railings IISo this morning I was up bright and early once again. This time it was for an outing to Tynemouth and another chance to get some early sunrise photos. After last weekend I was really optimistic that I would get some great photos, however the weather and the cloud cover soon put a stop to that.

I don’t know if it’s my inexperience or not but the quality of light was not as good as last week. What do I mean? I don’t really know. All I know is that all my photos came out flat, no contrast at all and because of the cloud cover it was hard to get any colour into the sky.

Rather than being downbeat I turned my attention to what was lying around and in the end I got what I feel are some great images. Not as many as last week but still enough to be happy with. (more…)
